Second-gen VW Touareg revealed

I never liked it much and since it has not changed much, I still don't like it. In general, I never got it why VW wants to move upmarket.

Anyway, the second-gen Touareg will be the first model to be equipped with the VW's hybrid drivetrain, which combines a supercharged and direct injected 3.0-liter V6 with an electric motor and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Europe is better off with the TDI, since it gets a combined rating of 31.8 mpg (U.S.), instead of hybrid's 28.6 mpg.

A 3.6 L V6 engine will also be available, as well as the impressive 4.2 L TDI V8 engine developing 335 hp. All engines will be mated with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
